The 2020 SBIR Weeks are virtual events and part of a national outreach efforts connecting entrepreneurs working on advanced technologies to the country’s largest source of early stage funding – the SBIR/STTR programs. Also known as America’s Seed Fund, the SBIR/STTR programs provide over $3.7 billion in funding to small businesses each year in a wide variety of technology areas.
Each virtual event, hosted by a local organization, will provide registrants with an opportunity to hear directly from the participating federal agency program managers that administer over 5,500 new awards annually and to meet one-on-one with program decision makers.
Local innovation supporters in communities who have historically underutilized the opportunities provided through the SBIR/STTR programs have invited representatives of America’s Largest Seed Fund to engage the small advanced technology community, including women and minority-owned research and development businesses. Every virtual event provides and opportunity to meet virtually with Federal Program Managers who seed a wide spectrum of innovative ideas, while learning about your state sponsored innovation support infrastructure.
So, if you’re an Innovator, Entrepreneur, Researcher, or Small Technology Firm, don’t miss this opportunity.
